Direct the Town of Erie's economic development efforts including primary employment and retail attraction and development. Oversee all economic development prospects and clients including identifying needs, resolving issues, and arrangement of prospect visits, briefings and community familiarization tours.

Organize and oversee development of Town of Erie Urban Renewal (TOEURA) plan areas. Develop, administer and direct implementation of existing and future urban renewal plans and facilitate development of other targeted redevelopment areas in the Town. Prepare financial and technical analysis, economic and fiscal impact reports, and other planning, marketing and real estate analyses for consideration by the TOEURA and Board of Trustees.

Provide assistance to potential incoming and existing businesses. Serve as liaison between developers, property/business owners and Town staff. Create marketing materials for development and redevelopment of property. Provide statistical data, property inventories, feasibility analyses, tours and information to prospective businesses, brokers and investors. Develop and administer implementation of development finance toolbox to support, encourage, and catalyze public/private investment for key redevelopment projects. Maintain and increase the Town's retail, commercial and industrial tax base.
